The Belgian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (BUCC) started in June 2010 and was recognised officially as Chamber of Commerce in April 2011.
A lot of activities have been rolled out during this last year, among which several seminars throughout Belgium about doing business with Ukraine. The Belgian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce contributed also to the promotion of two trade missions, one to Poltava & one to Donetsk and Kiev. But most of all, the Chamber assisted several members in their search for business and partners in Ukraine quite successfully.
The year 2012 is a very important year for Ukraine. The Euro 2012 football tournament takes place in Poland and Ukraine from June 8th 2012 on.
Lviv, Kiev, Kharkiv and Donetsk are the tournament cities in Ukraine. The final takes place in Kiev on July 1st 2012. We will plan an event in Belgium celebrating the tournament of course, and we hope to do the same in our new premises in Ukraine.
Finally, one of the main activities of BUCC in 2012 will be the organisation of a trade mission to Ukraine in collaboration with several Belgian economic organisations.
